Samir Arab

Samir Arab is an Executive Director at AGC Equity Partners Limited.

Mr. Arab has more than 30 years? experience in banking and finance. He began his banking career at Riyadh Bank in London as a Retail Branch Manager. Then he established Riyadh Bank Europe, a subsidiary of Riyadh Bank London to offer asset management services as the Acting Head of Private Banking. Following that, he became a Vice President at Chase Manhattan Private Bank in London with responsibilities for the Saudi Market. One of his main targets was to increase the AUM and offer a range of Chase banking products to the Saudi Market, which was successfully completed. Subsequently, Mr. Arab co-founded MerchantBridge Group and was one of the Managing Partners. The Group provided direct investments and private equity with emphases on the telecom industry, real estate, banking, and technology. Afterwards, Mr. Arab was a Senior Advisor for AXA Investment Managers, where he guided AXA IM on growing their AUM in Saudi Arabia. Prior to his current role at AGC Equity Partners, Mr. Arab joined Credit Suisse Private Banking in Geneva as a Director with the responsibility of executing transactions.

Mr. Arab holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from U.S. International University at San Diego.
